Part of getting to know Seattle this summer has consisted of finding places to go running. Since we are training for a half marathon at the end of the summer we needed to to find somewhere that allowed us to run without having to stop for a million lights and somewhere that is not the middle of the city. Green Lake offered the perfect solution. Its a little strange to us that we need to drive for a little while in order to get to where we go run, but we keep going back. The trail right around the waterline is 3 miles, making it easy to measure the lengths of our runs. It also helps that the scenery is beautiful.
